USA Today: Sidekick Therapy Partners is one of The Top Workplaces 2024

USA Today has recognized Sidekick Therapy Partners as a Top Workplace of 2024, a national honor that emphasizes companies with a people-centered culture where employees can make their voices heard. The fourth-annual rankings are based entirely on feedback from an employee engagement survey completed by employees of participating companies with more than 150 employees. Sidekick Therapy Partners has won other regional Top Workplace awards in recent years, including in 2022 and 2023.

More than 7,000 employers nationwide were invited to take the challenge, and 2,227 followed through with an employee survey process, according to USA Today and Energage. In the end, 1,531 employers received recognition within various size and organizational categories.

"We are honored to be recognized as one of the top workplaces in the USA! one of our core values at Sidekick is HEART. Our therapists care so much for the kids that they serve, and they pour into them day in and day out. Our team is what makes Sidekick special, and it's our privilege to be able to support and value them in the work that they do," said Sidekick COO Krissie Self. "We have a culture that honors and celebrates our teammates, and it's wonderful to be recognized for that by Top Workplaces."

In addition to the national award, Sidekick Therapy Partners also received a Healthcare Industry Award and three Culture Excellence Accolades for employee appreciation, professional development, and employee wellbeing. Sidekick introduced a robust employee appreciation "shoutouts" program in 2020 for employees to highlight each others' accomplishments and receive gift cards in recognition.

Sidekick also heavily emphasizes professional development for all employees and hosts a monthly Teach-In event for employees to gain critical continuing education and free certification maintenance hours (CMH) for clinicians to use towards their ASHA certification. Sidekick also hosts a free summer CEU event, monthly leadership training for anyone involved in leadership with Sidekick, and a week-long onboarding program for all employees.

Sidekick offers a variety of medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, each with an employer contribution towards the premium. Participation in Sidekick's 401k plan is open to all teammates and includes an employer match, and all teammates are able to access the no-cost Employee Assistance Program, which provides 24-hour confidential assistance with personal, family, or work-related concerns, among other services.
