Would Your Child Benefit From a Physical Therapy Evaluation?
Physical therapy addresses the physical needs of the human body. We work with patients of all ages to help them improve movement, decrease falls, reach milestones, and manage pain while educating patients and families about therapeutic exercises and activities to promote overall health and healing. Your child should be seen if they have a medical diagnosis that affects their ability to move, requires them to wear leg braces, has had surgery, alters the function of their heart/lungs/muscles, or impacts their ability to play with peers around the home, on the playground, or at their school. If your child does not have a medical diagnosis, they can still be seen and may benefit from physical therapy if they trip often, walk on toes, appear clumsy or uncoordinated, or are behind on meeting developmental milestones.
