Treatment Activity: Sticker Sheets

One of my new favorite things to use in therapy is sticker sheets!! My mom bought me some to give my kiddos for Christmas presents, but I decided to use them as activities and as a reward.

For my articulation kiddos, I would write 3-5 words containing their target sound on a blank sheet of paper. I would model the word and ask them to repeat the word 5 times. After their trials, they would get the body of whatever their sticker sheet was. The process would be repeated until all the stickers, including the accessories, were completed. Doing this resulted in about 65-80 trials, depending on how many accessories were used. This also made tracking data so much easier to track, because I wasn’t keeping up with correct productions, just incorrect ones.

For my older language kiddos, I was able to do normal activities and use the sticker sheets as a reward. Then for my younger language kiddos, I was able to model sentences using the carrier phrases “I want” or “I need” plus eyes, nose, mouth, or whatever they needed. All my kiddos, from pre-kindergarten to 4th graders absolutely loved this activity and asked to do it every day during December. I have already found some more that are not Christmas themed to use when we get back!
