Valentine's Day Resource List
In preparation for Valentine’s Day, I have made a list of 10 themed resources:
Articulation:
1.Hearts Color By Number | Ambiki: A fun way to use this in therapy is to have the student say a certain target word 1-5 times and have them color the numbered heart.
2.Werewolf Willie Loves Valentine's Day Fill-In Story: For older students, this is a great resource to target speech sounds in reading. Have the student come up with words containing their target sounds and then have them read aloud their silly story!
3.Silly Valentines Articulation Combo: /p/, /b/, /k/, /g/, ...: This is a fun, themed resource that is great to target various speech sounds using the carrier phrases and sentence strips provided!
4.Valentine’s Articulation /v/ and /f/ | Ambiki: This link is specific to the /f/ and /v/ phonemes, but there are other copies that target several speech sounds! This would be fun to use dotters or colors with!
5.Valentine’s Day Sentence Strip | Ambiki: For older students working on their sounds at the sentence level, this would be perfect. Just take any articulation cards and have them add it into the sentence!
Language:
1.Valentine’s Vocabulary | Ambiki: This resource is a great labeling activity. For older students, this would be a great word list for them to create various sentences containing a target word.
2.Werewolf Willie Loves Valentine's Day Fill-In Story: This resource can function as a language activity as well by reviewing and labeling specific parts of speech.
3.Spatial Concepts: Where's Kiki? (Valentine's Day Theme): This is a perfect resource to target prepositions!!
4.Valentine’s Day Pronoun Sort | Ambiki: I used the Christmas themed version of this resource and my student’s LOVED it. This was perfect to target pronouns!
5.Valentines Verbs Worksheets - Irregular, Regular and Defi...: For kiddos working on past/present tense verbs or vocabulary words, this is an awesome resource!
Hopefully this list of resources helps make planning your Valentine’s Day sessions fun and stress free!
