May is Better Hearing and Speech Month

Did you know that May is Better Hearing and Speech Month? This is a special time for speech-language pathologists and audiologists to celebrate and advocate for our fields nationwide!

The American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) has designated the 2022 theme for Better Hearing and Speech Month as "Connecting People." I believe this is important because connecting people is central to everything that we do in both of our fields!

ASHA has links for a BHSM store, social media contest, and themed graphics/info sheets you can share on your personal and professional social media every week of the month!
